Bengaluru: A 23-member delegation from the Bavarian Parliament of Germany, led by Florian Siekmann, Vice Chairman of the "Internal Security, Municipal Affairs, and Sport" Committee, visited Vidhana Soudha and met Karnataka Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader. They also held discussions with the chairpersons of various legislative standing committees.

During the meeting, leaders from both sides exchanged insights on parliamentary procedures, legislative rules, and the functioning of the Bavarian and Karnataka Assemblies. Speaker U.T. Khader emphasized that both parliaments could engage in future exchanges to share best practices.

The meeting was attended by legislative standing committee chairpersons, officials, and other dignitaries.
