Bhatkal: A symbolic rally was held by Bhatkal Jamatul Muslimeen to mark its completion of 1000 years on Tuesday. Hundreds of youths from various sports centers of Bhatkal participated. The youth tried to present the culture of Nawayat community while participating in the rally.
Around 5 o'clock in the evening, the rally came out from the Islamia Anglo-Urdu High School ground and reached the program venue in Jamia street crossing through Sultan Street and chowk bazar. Immediately after the rally, a Nawayat cultural exhibition was inaugurated near program venue at Jamia Street.
It should be noted that the formal opening of the Millenary program will be on Wednesday, January 4, at 10:30 am. While on the next day, Thursday, there will be a get-together event to promote communal harmony toward greater nation building at 10:30 am till 1:00pm.
