Bhatkal: Coastal Karnataka NRI Forum inaugurated a mobile clinic on Sunday in which Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada, Prabhulinga Kolekatti was present as Chief Guest, where he lauded the services of NRI Forum. He said, "during the days of the COVID pandemic, everyone kept aside their religion, sect, caste, richness, and poverty and came forward to serve humanity to somehow save the lives of others. We should help each other in the same way in the future. We had set a good example of brotherhood in that era. In the future too, as a human being, one should come forward to help another human being."
He appreciated the businessman of Shiroor, Muhammad Meeran Saheb, for donating an ambulance to the NRI Forum and said that the government cannot do all the work, government work has some limitations. But if entrepreneurs like Meeran Saheb come forward, many problems of the people can be solved.
Deputy Commissioner Prabhulinga Kolekatti inaugurated the mobile clinic by cutting the ribbon of the ambulance. The meeting started with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Irshad Afrika Nadvi. General Secretary of NRI Forum Amin Saifullah welcomed the guests while introducing the forum. The Qazis of Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Rab Khateeb Nadvi, and Maulana Khawaja Moinuddin Akrami Madani, Qazi of Manki Jamaatul Muslimeen Maulana Shakeel Nadvi, Senior Vice President and Managing Trustee of Green Valley, Mr. Muhammad Meeran presented their views.
It has been told that this mobile ambulance will go from village to village. A lab technician and a nurse will always be available in the ambulance to treat people. It has been informed that the toll-free number of the mobile clinic will be released soon, after which people will be able to call the mobile clinic and avail of it.

On this occasion, President of Majlis Islah Wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal Inayatullah Shabandari, President of Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council Umar Farooq Musbah, Secretary General Atiqur Rahman Muniri, President of Bhatkal Municipal Council Parvez Qasimji, Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Mamata Devi and Bhatkal Government Hospital in charge Dr. Savita Kamat was present on the dais.
Arun Kumar, a social worker from Shiroor, and Musab Abida, an emerging social worker from Bhatkal compered the program.
