Sharjah: Abdul Hameed Gawai played gutsy knocks to help Saalif Chargers seal a two-wicket win over DVS United in Jan & Bros BPL 2023 at JMR Oval ground in Sharjah on Sunday.

Chasing 133, Saalif Chargers openers gave a start of 24 runs for the first wicket, Mohammed Talha scored 22 runs in 10 balls. 

For Saalif Chargers, Abdul Hameed Gawai scored 52 of 34 balls with three fours and three sixes and was crowned with Man of the match award. Danish and Naseem bagged three wickets each.

For DVS United, Noor Kimia and Ikrama hit 30 runs each. Ikrama managed to claim 3 wickets with his bowling performance.

Earlier, after winning the toss Saalif Chargers opt to field.
