Mangaluru: A fatal stabbing occurred in Someshwar, Mangaluru, claiming the life of a young man in Saraswati colony late on the night of December 13, Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Varun (28), fell victim to a violent altercation near a school in Kolya involving Sooraj, a local resident, and two accomplices. It is alleged that following the heated dispute, Sooraj assaulted Varun, ultimately leading to his death.

The motive behind the murder is believed to stem from a longstanding feud. During the incident, Raviraj, a former member of Someshwar GP, sustained injuries as well. Sooraj is suspected to be the perpetrator in this tragic event.
