Kumta: Revanth welfare association of Kumta is all set to organise two days of open district level football tournament at taluka stadium here at Manki ground in Kumta. 

In a press conference, the leader of Revanth Welfare Association Pavan Shetty said: "This tournament is organised in the memory of their best friend Revanth and this will be the second season which will be held on June 4th and 5th. Film director, Subraya Walke will be encouraging us throughout the season through their sponsorship."

Later he added that a total of 24 teams will be played in this season. Various teams from Uttar Kannada district along with teams from Mumbai, Mysore and Sagar shall be participating in this tournament in which the "University-blue" players too will be in the teams. 

In the press meet, the members of association as Sujan Sarvottam, Dheeraj Naidu, Ibrahim Nafees Qazi, Aftab Shaikh, Laxman Kamat, Simon Lopes, Faizan Qazi, Sandeep Gouda, Poornachandra, Ashok Gaonkar, Saurab, Clifton and many others were present.
