Udupi: A 33-year-old man from Bagalkot was killed after the truck in which he was traveling hit a divider following the sudden application of brake in the wee hours on NH 66 at Kothalkatte in Uliyargoli in Kaup on Monday.

According to police, the deceased is identified as Raju.

Another man injured in the incident is being treated at a hospital. A case is registered in Kaup police station.
