Karwar: The Department of Fisheries has invited applications from male candidate to provide training in inland fisheries.

The training would commence from June 27.

The participants will be provided trained in fishing’s, rearing, coracle sailing, net knitting and repairing, catching fishes, cultivation of ornamental fishes and regarding latest trend in the fishes.

Candidates aged between 18 and 40 those who have cleared class X are eligible to apply for training. The applicants’ filled win form should be sent to the Fisheries Assistant Director (Grade-1), fisheries training center, BR Project, Bhadravathi, Shivamogga district on or before June 25, a press release said.
