Bhatkal: The police has seized vehicles carrying as many as 25 cattles in two separate incidents at Kottara chowki in Mangaluru and Purvarga in Bhatkal.
In the first incident which occured at Purvarga Bhatkal, the police has detained 3 people and seized a vehicle full of cattles.
According to the police, these people were transporting 15 cattles to Bhatkal without any permit paper.
The detainees have been identified as Aashiq Naasir of Kundapur, Adil Ibrahim of Neralkatte and Mohammed Ibrahim of Bhatkal Siddiqui street.
PSI Parmeshwar Seth participated in the seize under the guidance of Circle Inspector Prashant Naik.
The second incident occured at Mangaluru where a vehicle filled with cattles were seized at Kottara chowki.
According to the sources, ten cattles were being transported via Scorpio car when police intercepted the car and confiscated the cattles. It is learnt the accused were successful in fleeing from the spot.
A team led by Kadri police station inspector Maruti Naik, Bunder police station inspector Shantaram, Urwa police station inspector Ravi Naik and others participated in the seize.
