Udupi: Udupi DC Vishal R was transferred and subsequently promoted as Director Municipal Administration at Bengaluru on Friday. Currently, Udupi Zilla Panchayath Chief Executive is appointed as DC until futher order. Vishal took charge as DC from November 4, 2014.

Speaking about the transfer, "Transfer is the part of my job profile. I was expecting it but did not know when. They appointed me to Bengaluru. Ultimately, I will perform my best wherever I go. Udupi is a fantastic place, you cannot match Udupi with any other place in the entire state," he said.
