Bhatkal: Vice-president of Karnataka State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (KASCARD Bank), Ishwar Naik, joined BJP in the presence of state leaders after receiving a warm welcome from state BJP president Yeddyurappa, in a ceremony held at the party's Malleshwaram office in Bangalore on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa stated that the party is looking forward to build a strong ruling BJP in Uttar Kannada district. He also added that there are maximum chances of winning BJP seats from 6 divisions of Uttara Kannada.
Ishwar Naik assured that a strong unit will be built up in a district after the suggestions and opinions from senior leaders.
On the occasion, Ex CM Sadanand Gowda, other BJP leaders Ananth Kumar, Pralahad Joshi, CM Udasi, Shobha Karlandje, MP Anantkumar Hegde and Bhatkal's BJP leaders Govind Naik, Krishna Naik, Parmeshwar Devadiga, Dinesh Naik, Mohan Devadiga and many others were present.
