Bhatkal: Vice-President of Town Municipal Council Janab Dr.Syed Saleem has said that the government has approved for the establishment of hi- tech fish market in Bhatkal and 1.35 crore rupees has been sanctioned for this project. This new fish market will be established on the way to weekly market(santa market) near the government hospital.

According to Coastal Development Authority, the foundation of this market will be soon be laid by District incharge Minister RV Deshpande.
