Mangaluru: A series of accidents occurred due to a car driver's intoxicated state at Jeppu on Wednesday night.

The driver, identified as Akshay, a resident of Manjeshwar Kadambar, has been apprehended by the police.

According to law enforcement, Akshay was driving a Kerala-registered car under the influence of alcohol, colliding with two cars and a scooter from the opposite direction.

Kadri police station visited the spot and took Akshay, the car driver, into custody.
