Gokarna: A youth from Jaipur in Rajasthan working with an IT company in Bengaluru drowned in Beach in Gokarna on Sunday evening.

The deceased was identified as Divyanshu Jain (24).

Divyanshu Jain along with four girls and two boys had come on a trip to Gokarna. At around 7:30 pm, they ventured into Om beach. However, Divyanshu was caught by a wave and drowned. Later, the police along with the help of localities fished out the body.

Gokarna police registered a case.
