Siddapur( DHNS): As many as 79 sarees and a car were seized at the election check-post near Choorikatta in Siddapur taluk on Tuesday.

The sarees packed in three bags were found in a car.

They were no receipts for the sarees.

Ashwin Rawool of Hubballi was carrying it to Siddapur from Talguppa.

CPI Kumar and election staff made the seizure and registered a case.
